Football training has started for the 2017-2018 football season. Weight lifting helps you to gain more strength and use some of the muscles you didn't even know existed. I've been going to football workouts lately and I can feel myself gaining muscle. The more I go, I learn about different workouts and learn how to do them properly. If you don't do workouts properly, especially lifting weights, you can really hurt yourself.
Although skill training hasn't started yet, weight lifting along with speed training have. There are different types of speed training. We have a couple different workouts we do for speed training. We can do Percy's, Larry's, Cancer, or Hills. The latest speed workout we've done is Cancer. We used muscles I don't think I've ever used before.
Skill training starts in the summer, and I'm pretty excited for that. I haven't had anyone who can throw me relatively good passes in a while. I'm excited to get out on the field, work hard, and get better.
